Vegan pizza crust recipe for stuffed crusts

This vegan pizza crust has been adapted from the Vegan Pizza Crust recipe from the cookbook, Vegan Pizza.

This vegan crust recipe has a more delicate texture, but tastes great as a stuffed crust.

You can also make your own vegan pizza by following the recipe below.

Ingredients 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (I use 1/4 cup) 1/3 cup vegan margarine (I like to use coconut oil, which I can buy at the store) 2 tablespoons baking powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 cup vegetable oil 1 large egg 1 cup vegan cheese (I used vegan cheese from Whole Foods) 1 large bunch of cauliflower, stems removed, washed and chopped into 1-inch pieces (about 1 cup) Directions In a large bowl, combine flour, margarine, baking powder, and salt.

Set aside.

In a small bowl, mix the vegetable oil and eggs until the mixture comes together.

Slowly add the vegan cheese and mix until the dough comes together into a ball.

Roll out dough on lightly floured work surface.

Brush a tablespoon of the batter onto each cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

(If your oven is too hot to handle, cool on the rack for 10 minutes before transferring.)

Store in an airtight container.

Notes Make sure you use organic ingredients.

The ingredients you use will vary based on the brand and type of vegan crust you use.

You’ll need to experiment with different recipes to find what works best for you.

If you prefer to use dairy-free ingredients, I would suggest using soy-free margarine or soy-based margarine instead of vegan margarines.
