New York City’s Pizza Hut: No gluten-free pizza coming soon
Posted On July 23, 2021
The company said it plans to open at least one new restaurant in New York by the end of the year.
It also said it will continue to use gluten-containing ingredients, such as breadcrumbs, for its pizzas.
The announcement comes as some other fast-casual chains like Burger King and Subway have also said they will remove gluten from their menus.
“We are excited to partner with the city to create new businesses in New Yorkers neighborhoods and explore other opportunities to expand our business across the city,” Pizza Hut CEO and Chairman Peter Franchini said in a statement.
“We look forward to continuing to serve New Yorkers and serving their families for generations to come.”
