How a pizza patron became a mom and how Papa John’s got her started

When Sara Satterfield first came across a pie on a website, she said, she didn’t think much of it.

“It’s a pretty small pie, you know?” she said.

“And then you open it and see the little sticker on it saying it’s from Papa John,” she said of a red-and-white logo.

But Satterfields first thought it might be a bad imitation of Papa John.

The pizza chain was notorious for making poor pizza — with fake ingredients, the pizza was often “watered down,” with thin slices of pizza tossed on top of the traditional tomato sauce and topped with a tomato sauce, cheese and pepperoni.

When Satterford started noticing Papa John products on her local grocery store shelves, she quickly called Papa John Pizza, which offered a free gift card to anyone who had purchased the pie from the chain.

“I had no idea that it was real,” Satterfys father, Mike, said.

Papa John is now Satterfeys favorite pizza.

“There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t come in and ask if I can get some pizza,” she explained.

“But it’s been my favorite.”

The family also has a new love: Satterfoys mom, Michelle, is a pizza fan.

“That’s one of my favorite things to eat,” she told The Post.

She said her mom loves the crust of the pizza, the cheese, the sauce, the toppings and even the name of the pie.

Satter fields dad, Mike Satter, says that after she ordered the Papa Johns pizza, Michelle asked him, “What did you do?”

The family shared their pizza and Satterfiys dad had to admit, the pie was good.

“Oh my gosh, it was so good, Mom,” Saterfys dad said.

The family also had to get rid of a pizza from the past, but Michelle was delighted.

“You can’t believe it,” she laughed.

The Pizza Patron Satterfather, a pizza person, has never had a pizza without it.

He says the first time he had one, he ate it with his hands, because it was too hard to handle.

Saterfield says she got the idea to make a pizza for Papa John when she saw a pizza that her mother bought in her town.

“She told me it was her favorite pizza, so I thought it would be fun to make my own,” Sitterfield said.

A few months ago, Satterstein ordered a pizza and when she opened it, she saw it was from Papa Johns.

“At first, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m really glad you have a Papa John,'” Satterson said.

But then she saw the pie sticker and thought, “That looks so fake,” she recalled.

She asked her dad, “Did you put the pizza in the oven and bake it?”

Satter Satterstons dad is a Pizza Patron, and when he brought his family to Papa John in the fall, he ordered a Pizza patron pizza.

“When I got home, I had it for lunch, and I asked my mom, ‘What is this?'”

Satterwells dad, who is also a Papa Johns employee, said his daughter asked, “Is it real?”

She was skeptical.

“So I said, ‘Well, I just can’t imagine a real pizza,'” he recalled.

So Sattersteins mom, who works in the Pizza Patron department, asked him to give her a taste.

“This was my first real experience with pizza,” Sasserfield said with a laugh.

“As soon as I took a bite, I could tell that it wasn’t the same.”

The Satterfs are currently the first pizza patron family to buy Papa Johns pizza.

Sasserstons mom, a Papa johns employee, made a few modifications to the recipe.

Samerfield added extra cheese and onion and added pepperoni to the crust, and then topped it with the original tomato sauce.

The whole family ate the pizza at once.

Michelle said she ate her first Papa John this past Saturday.

“For the first few times, I didn’t eat much,” she confessed.

“Then, I started to eat a little bit, and after I ate a little more, I finally had a good pizza,” said Michelle, who has two children from her previous marriage.

She also said she likes the way the crust is made.

“The way they’re using flour instead of baking soda, and that’s the way I like it,” said Sasserfys mom.

“We’re really happy with it.”
